Drive towards the high-altitude Chandratal Lake, one of the most surreal lakes in the region. En route, cross Kunzum Pass, offering snow-capped peaks and fluttering prayer flags. The final 2 km to Chandratal can be done by a short trek. Camp by the lake under the stars for a magical experience.
After sunrise at Chandratal, begin your journey back to Manali via Batal, Chatru, and the scenic Atal Tunnel. The road is rugged but stunning with waterfalls, glaciers, and rocky paths. Reach Manali by evening and unwind in a comfortable hotel after the long adventure.
Leave Manali after breakfast and drive back to Amritsar. The drive winds down from the Himalayas into the plains of Punjab. Reach Amritsar by evening and enjoy a well-deserved rest or an optional visit to the Golden Temple at night.
