Vaishno Devi Darshan with Amritsar Heritage

Upon your arrival in Amritsar (by train, flight, or car), you will be welcomed by our tour representative and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After a brief rest, proceed to visit the iconic Golden Temple, one of the holiest Sikh shrines in the world. Take in the spiritual aura, shimmering waters of the holy Sarovar, and the mesmerizing evening kirtan. Spend time in peaceful reflection or volunteer at the Langar hall if you wish. Later, explore the surrounding market for local souvenirs and traditional Punjabi snacks. Overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for a short local tour of Amritsar. Visit Jallianwala Bagh, a historical site of national significance, followed by a visit to Durgiana Temple. In the evening, witness the electrifying Beating Retreat Ceremony at Wagah Border, a patriotic experience near the India–Pakistan border. After the ceremony, begin your overnight journey to Katra, the base town for Vaishno Devi Temple (travel via private cab or overnight train depending on your package). Night on board or in transit.

Arrive in Katra early in the morning and check-in to your hotel for freshening up. After a short rest, begin your trek or pony ride to the sacred Vaishno Devi Shrine, located about 13 km from the base. For those who wish, battery cars or helicopter service can also be arranged (subject to availability and advance booking). Offer your prayers to Maa Vaishno Devi, a revered form of Shakti, and soak in the spiritual energy of the Himalayas. After darshan, return to Katra by evening or night, depending on your pace. After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin the return drive to Amritsar. Upon arrival, you may be dropped at the railway station, airport, or hotel as per your departure schedule.
